Portable Fuel (Dry Site) Safe Working Group

The “DRY SITE” working group has been working hard to eliminate as much fuel as possible from worksites whilst still maintaining a high level service to our customers, the biggest risk with fuel is petrol, the group has heavily concentrated on ways to reduce and eliminate petrol from our high risk activities.

A major success of the group has been the replacement of petrol generators with those of diesel.

In areas where petrol remains a critical part of our operation new safer methods are being introduced to further support our ZERO HARM by 2012 initiative.
