Balfour Beatty Group has launched a new safety target which is Zero Harm by 2012.
This means that the whole Group will achieve:
Zero deaths
Zero injuries to the public
Zero ruined lives among our people
That means:
No seriously disabling injuries
No long term harm to health
Aiming for Zero AFR while we achieve below 0.1
How will we get there?
We place safety at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to helping our customers reach the highest levels of safety through the innovative products, services and solutions that we offer.
We have identified our top five fatal risks and formed working task groups to eliminate these risks so that there is no realistic likelihood of a serious accident. In addition to this we have a system to understand many other risks falling outside of these five categories and manage these accordingly.
